This notice explains what personal data Lusso Equestrian Atelier collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
- Your email address — only if you subscribe to the Lusso letter or write to us.
- What you asked us — the content of emails and WhatsApp messages you send.
- How the site is used — pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, which outbound links are clicked, language chosen. Collected through Google Analytics 4, only after you accept analytics cookies.
- Aggregate traffic — Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you.
We do not collect payment details. Nothing is sold on this site yet; when The Edit launches, payment is handled by Stripe and card details never reach us.
Why, and on what legal basis

Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers, each acting on our instructions: Google (Analytics), Cloudflare (hosting, security, cookieless analytics), and our email provider for the newsletter. Some are based in the United States; those transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
When you click an affiliate link and leave this site, the retailer or affiliate network (such as Awin) sets its own tracking and applies its own privacy policy. We never send them your email address. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
We do not sell personal data. Ever.
How long we keep it
- Analytics data: 14 months, then deleted by Google automatically.
- Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe, plus a short record that you did.
- Emails and enquiries: up to 24 months, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or hand it to someone else. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time — that does not affect what happened before. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within one month.
If you think we have got it wrong, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office — ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113. We would rather you told us first.
Children
This site is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this notice changes materially, the date below changes and the cookie banner is shown again where consent is affected.
